The “Nemmadi Project” was started by the e-Governance department on the Private Public Partnership (PPP) model. But since authorities faced some issues like the lack of control over the private partners so the government took over the entire project. On the behalf of the government, the Revenue department looks after this project. Under this project, the government established the exclusive service centers at the hobli level. Through these Nadakacheri centers, the government aims to provide affordable, transparent, and reliable services to the citizens.
Nadakacheri is very beneficial for the people living in rural areas as this provides them electronic services. According to the government on the official website, this project has been launched in the 69 hobli centers all over the state on 25.12.2012. Step 4- On the next page click on the “New Request” option and then select the “Caste Certificate” option.

Residence Certificate Application Process
Step 1- Visit the official website to apply for the residence certificate.
Step 2- On the homepage of the website click on the “Online Application” option then click on the “Apply Online” option.
Step 3- As a new page will appear on your screen, enter your mobile no. and click on the “Get OTP” button. As you get the OTP enter the OTP there and click on the “Proceed” button.
Step 4- After doing this you have to click on the “Residence Certificate” under the “New Request” section. Now you have to enter your details and upload all the required documents wherever asked in the application form.
Step 5- Select the mode of delivery and click on the Save button to get the acknowledgment no. on your mobile no.
